DIANE SHARP - MAKEOVER
30th May 2010Having recently moved house, she had inherited an old-fashioned kitchen which she hated. Worse still, a few weeks earlier a chip pan fire had damaged some of the units.
Diane said: “The insurance company would only pay to replace the damaged units so I was left with three shiny new units which didn’t match the rest of the kitchen.
“I had priced new kitchens but they were so expensive and I couldn’t get over how much installation costs, almost the same price again. I was really down about it and when I saw the competition I thought I would give it a try.
“When I won I couldn’t believe it and had to get them to phone back a few times before I took it in. George from Ofascia came out to measure up and show me the different colours and options and I decided to go for white gloss units.
“George did a wonderful job on all my cupboard doors and even built a surround for my microwave, I couldn’t get over how much he did.”
A delighted Diane is thrilled with the new kitchen which she says is very easy to wipe down, an important point as she has three children.
“Everyone who has seen the kitchen thinks it looks amazing and a lot of people are surprised when I tell them how much it would have cost to have it done, which is a fraction of the cost of buying a new kitchen and having it installed.
“I can’t recommend Ofascia highly enough and one of my aunties wants them to update her kitchen. The beauty of the whole thing is that if you get fed up with the doors you can change them for another colour or get patterned ones without having to shell out for a new kitchen.
“The fact that installation is included in the price is also a major selling point.”
